Documentation

Whilst we endeavour to provide documentation and training which complies with the contemporary  legislative requirements, unless explicitly specified, we do not warranty the legal validity of the contents of any documents indefinitely. However, we do guarantee that any  documentation compiled by us will be accurate, or we shall have no reason for it to be otherwise, at the time of its provision.

Policies  document demonstrating, in the form of brief statement, the management’s commitment towards health, safety and welfare. It highlights that the management is aware of a concerned safety issue and its obligation under the health and safety laws. It also outlines some key steps the business will take to ensure health, safety and welfare of the staff and other who may get affected.

Procedures – concise charts outlining how the business will implement the key components of its management system to achieve its policy objectives.

Guidance documents – simple and easy to understand e-booklets and fact sheets and publications. The guides explain the complex legal framework in an easy language and provide a step by step approach to achieve specific objectives.

Method Statement  a document containing a sequence of steps taken to perform a task safely. The statement is written after assessing all the possible risk associated with the task and ultimately putting all the necessary control measures in place.

Permit to work – a document authorising a person(s) to undertake a task for with a set time scale. It is a formal control system aimed to prevent accidents where foreseeable hazardous tasks are carried out.

H&S Audit  a  comprehensive and structured process of examining work activities a business is undertaking, assessing all the controls in place and highlighting any shortfalls in the  effectiveness and reliability of the existing controls in the safety management system.

Limitation of Services

Unless otherwise agreed, travel/accommodation costs are not included for audits.

Prices  quoted for documents will in most cases be in template format, with the exception of Gold and Platinum members who are  entitled to receive documents with their logos and company details on should they so wish.

All documentation will either be sent as email attachments, or a link will be provided where the customer is to download the relevant document from. Gold & Platinum members may request a CD free of cost with their requested documents. We may provide hard copies for Gold & Platinum members.

Audits of business sites are restricted to 1 site per business in UK mainland, unless pre-agreed.

Though we endeavour to respond to queries within 7 working days, in no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the subscription of membership packages or advice services.

PAT Testing services may incur additional travel costs depending on your location. Please contact us to confirm.
